Description
In this exciting two-day demo and hands-on workshop, students will learn to combine molded hinge designs with miniature pneumatic cylinders and air muscles to create kinetic motion.
Students will build and test miniature air muscles and adapt these devices to their own hinge designs. Sherman will demonstrate how he molds and adapts hinge designs from toys into mechanized metal hinge components and he will also demonstrate how the movement of these air hinges can be activated by a electronic solenoid switch activated by a microprocessor or common electrical toy circuits.
